We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone's life. Family emergencies, business meetings, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider cancelling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for out therapist's time, we have adopted the following:
Our Cancellation Policy
24 hour notice is required for cancellation of an appointment, or you will be charged in full for the appointment, or else payment is due before your next appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.
Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Please be on time to your appointment. Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for the "full" session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time. There may be instances where the therapist may have time to extend your service but this is done out of her own free will and is not a normality that is to be expected on each occasion.
Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infection or contagious condition. If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee may be waived.
